Who We Are

GUIA is an educational platform that helps students prepare for college entrance exams. We operate in the Philippines and comply with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and all applicable privacy laws.

Information We Collect

GUIA collects only a minimal amount of personal information to operate effectively. We do not collect names, birthdates, academic scores, or personal profiles.

We only collect:

• A username chosen by the user
• The user’s email address
• The schools the user is applying to

For users under 18, we also collect the email address of a parent or guardian to request consent.

Account Registration and Eligibility

• To access some features, you must create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must supervise your use of the Platform.

Use of the Platform

You agree to use GUIA:

• Only for lawful purposes
• In accordance with these Terms
• Without infringing the rights of others

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or resell any part of GUIA's content without permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Platform’s operations
• Use automated tools to scrape data or interfere with services

User-Generated Content

Some areas of the Platform may allow you or your child to post content (e.g., messages, feedback).

By posting content, you grant GUIA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, and display such content to operate and improve the Platform.

We reserve the right to moderate or remove content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate.

Intellectual Property

All content and materials on the Platform — including but not limited to logos, trademarks, texts, videos, quizzes, and graphics — are the property of GUIA or its licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not use or reproduce any of GUIA’s intellectual property without written consent.

Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Please refer to our [Data Privacy Statement] for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

Limitation of Liability

GUIA is provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GUIA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

Suspension or Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to GUIA at our sole discretion if:

• You breach these Terms
• You engage in unlawful or harmful behavior
• We are required to do so by law

Changes to the Terms

GUIA may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quezon City, Metro Manila.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

GUIA uses artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to generate study plans, provide feedback on test results, and personalize learning experiences.

While we strive to provide accurate and helpful guidance, AI-generated suggestions should be used with discretion and critical thinking. GUIA does not replace professional educators or guaranteed outcomes, and users are encouraged to validate any recommendations independently.
